The tallow we make comes from the Akaushi Breed, or Japanese Red (The Emperor's Breed). The Akaushi is known for it's healthy fat. It is higher in oleic acid and Omega 8. The molecular structure of tallow is almost the same as human skin, allowing better absorption to the underlying layers of skin.
